New year, new blog!

Well 2010 has officially started and it's about time this blog does too!

The month of December, and so far January, has been overwhelmed with projects! The Jarrett Baby shop is growing and will hopefully be a fully stocked shop by February 1st! We've been working hard and sewing like crazy to add new items, new styles and unique gifts at all price ranges. Be sure to check back in the shop weekly to see all the new items, and consider Jarrett Baby when purchasing your next baby shower gifts!

Most items in our shop have something to match the same pattern, be sure to check out the rest of the store to find your matching set - if you don't see it just convo us and we'll make it for you!

The Premie Line:
Jarrett Baby has found a spot in our hearts for premie babies and wanted to design a line to make life just a little simpler for premie parents. We're now carrying sets of premie receiving blankets so your baby can be comfortably swaddled without all the extra material in the way, larger blankets for warmth (that can always be a carseat blanket or security blanket for future use!) and matching changing pads to keep baby comfortable and fashionable at all times!

For the Nursing/Breastfeeding Momma:
Our nursing covers are a MUST to check out! All single pannel nursing covers are on sale this week until they're cleared from the shop (only $20 including shipping!!), once they're gone a new line of double sided two pannel nursing covers will be added. All nursing covers include straps with D rings for easy adjustment and comfort and boning along the top so the modest mommy can see baby, baby can see momma but no one else sees in!

Thank you for reading our blog today, checking out our new items at JarrettBaby.etsy.com, and for all of your support!

Some of the latest Wall Letters:

Off and running!

Wow! The hand painted wooden wall letters seem to be a big hit! Within two weeks the etsy.com store has had an order for the name Mason, Noah, Lily and the full alphabet. The site has officially reached it's mini milestone of 20 sales! The store is becoming an established seller within the community with sales picking up and the Feedback rating at 100%!

Now if you don't know what Etsy.com is, here is a little information: Etsy.com is an online community of individual stores full of all things vintage and homemade. Anything that can be made can be found in someones store on Etsy, most of the sellers have great prices and really neat products! There are stores in there that have been running for several years and have thousands of sales under their names - hopefully Jarrett Creations will be right along with them in the next couple of years!

JarrettCreations.etsy.com will be featuring it's wooden wall letters as the main seller for the shop, following that will be wooden wall plaques and bow holders, tutus and hair bows. I hope to have personalized bows and infant items in the near future with embroidered monograms, names and pictures!

Thank you so much for your support and best wishes for success!

Wooden Wall Letters

Wow these are fun! They seem to be quite popular too!

The block style letters are my favorite since they are easy to paint a border on, and they're so fun to decorate! So far I have done this style lettering for Gabi, Riley, Wylee and Jeter and I have a new order for baby Ethan. The other style lettering is perfect for a little girls room and I have painted that style for Maggie, Allie, Madyson and Faith. Here are some photos of the wooden wall letters I have painted recently:

Wylee's room is a tractor theme

Jeter's room is a Yankee's Baseball theme (could you tell by his name?!)

Riley's room is purples and greens

Madyson's letters were pink with Daisy accents

Maggie and Allie got matching letters painted in their own signature color with butterfly accents

Pink & Yellow Fairy Tutu

This tutu came out so adorable! Made from passion pink and buttercream tulle the colors couldn't have been more perfect! Yellow ribbon and pearl accents bring the whole tutu together and it looks TuTu cute!
